week two

Week two and I’m still getting used to this class, but I’m determined to be on top of everything I need to be for next week’s assignments. Regardless of feeling like I was falling behind, I had a lot of fun with this week. I love having the freedom to choose from the Assignment Bank and go about creating things in whichever way I see fit, and have no problem fitting these assignments to our 80’s theme. I find it pretty easy to connect with people through Twitter, and love to see people’s Daily Creates. I also try to connect by commenting on people’s blog posts for their weekly assignments and seeing the different ideas that they’re coming up with.

For my weekly assignments, I think I had the most fun with the one where I edited myself into a concert I wished I was at. I had so much fun writing that blog post because expressing something I love so much (Queen) is so easy and comes naturally. It felt rewarding to write it and I even shared it with my dad, who complimented me on it and it felt awesome. I also had a lot of fun with the Pinterest board because it’s one of my favorite apps ever; I’ve been using it since middle school and I love creating boards that I can go back to and explore any time. My third daily create was a more personal one, a bucket list, and I really wanted to write this because I feel like other people could benefit from it. I know I’m personally always looking for new ideas for my bucket list and things to try out, so hopefully someone was able to get some ideas for themselves or maybe it even inspired them to start a bucket list!

The daily creates were fun as well, but since I didn’t have any control over what they were going to be like with the weekly assignments, I didn’t enjoy them as much. Like I said before, I’m super determined to keep up with the new creations we have to make for this week and can’t wait.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! 🙂
